Use: Practical measuring exercises aided by the computer.

MechMeasuring is the second in a series of programs that teach measuring techniques. In MechMeasuring the pupil gets to do practical measuring exercises. The pupil should first have used the Measuring Course program to learn how to read the instruments. In MechMeasuring the details that are to be measured are shown with arrows showing where the pupil should take measurements.When a detail is measured the pupil types in the values in a table on the screen and the program marks the results. Diferent symbols show the pupil whether to measure internally, externally, depth etc. This reduces the risk of the pupil measuring at the wrong place or choosing the wrong detail. The teacher can check the pupil's results by entering the teacher's menu. The program marks the exercises automatically so that the teacher can spend his/her time on more important things. The pupils can work independantly with the program and no experience of computers is required.
