MeasureCourse is the first in a series of programs that are designed to teach measuring techniques. In MeasureCourse the pupil goes through an introduction where the caliper and the micrometer's parts and functions are explained. After the introduction the pupil can perform a series of exercises where the program shows one of the instruments with a randomly chosen value. The pupil then types in what value the instrument is showing and the program responds by telling the pupil if the answer is correct or not. If the pupil gives the wrong answer the program shows the correct answer and shows with arrows how the instrument should be read. In this program the pupil can do tests where the result is stored so that the teacher can check on the pupil's progress later. The teacher can create his/her own tests which the pupils can then choose from. The teacher's menu can be reached through a password that the teacher him/herself chooses. From the teacher's menu the teacher can create tests and check the pupil's results. The program increases the pupil's motivation and offers a more interesting and fun way of learning. The program does not require any experience of computers.
